General terms and conditions

• Scope of application

You are booking on a website that uses Simple Booking's online reservation system.
These terms and conditions apply to self-bookings made through Simple Booking's online reservation system.

• Reservations System

The present Online Reservations System accesses effective data and actual availability of rooms in real time and places effective bookings directly in the booking system Simple Booking.
As far as reservations are made, the present Online Reservations System may only be used for effectively intended and subsequently actually realized bookings, but not for false (e.g. test bookings) or feigned reservations.

• Booking

Every reservation is forwarded to Berghotel Schynige Platte via Simple Booking on your behalf.

• Accommodation contract

The accommodation contract is concluded directly between you and the Berghotel Schynige Platte during the reservation process

• Payment and cancellation conditions

If you have made a booking in the WordPress Reservations System, please refer to your booking confirmation for the payment and cancellation conditions. In general, you pay the Berghotel directly via Stripe. In case of cancellation within the cancellation period, the amount will be refunded minus the commission costs.

• Credit card payment via Stripe

The credit card will be charged by Stripe.

We use Stripe, an offer of the American Stripe Inc. (hereinafter "Stripe") for the processing of payments (legal basis according to DSGVO, if and to the extent applicable: Art. 6 para. 1 let. b u. f DSGVO). Stripe is certified under both the EU-U.S. and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield and thereby ensures adequate data protection. • Cancellations

Cancellations must be made independently in the booking or via email to hotel.schynigeplatte@jungfrau.ch .
Your reservation confirmation contains a cancellation deadline until when the free cancellation is possible. If the cancellation is made after this date, the cancellation conditions apply, which can be seen on the booking confirmation.

We charge the following cancellation fees for individual guests

30-06 days before arrival 0%

05-04 days before arrival 25%

03-02 days before arrival 50%

Later 100%

In the event of failure to arrive without cancellation, Berghotel Schynige Platte may charge a cancellation fee to your credit card.

• Room prices

All prices are per person and per night.
The reservation confirmation indicates whether further services are included in the room rate. All prices include 4-course evening menu and breakfast buffet.

• Miscellaneous

All information has been compiled with the utmost care. However, no liability can be accepted for any errors in data entry or data transmission.
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction and performance is CH 3812 Wilderswil.
