Restaurant Panorama

Enjoy the fantastic view from our Panorama Restaurant to the fullest. It is our pleasure to serve traditional Swiss dishes. The restaurant offers table service and seating for 350 people. You can also enjoy our regional breakfast buffet daily until 09:30.

Swiss tradition

Enjoy the sun on the serviced terrace with 170 seats. Like the terrace, a newly created quadrant-shaped restaurant area with around 100 seats offers an unrestricted view of the famous triumvirate.

Self-service

The self-service buffet on the terrace is open daily. Enjoy our cuisine al fresco with the sun shining and the imposing Bernese Alps as a backdrop. The menu on the self-service terrace is more oriented towards an outdoor picnic and differs from that of the hotel restaurant.

Bistro

The bistro directly at the mountain station Schynige Platte is the perfect place for a little stopover while you wait in peace for the historic train back to Wilderswil or, if necessary, stock up on food for the hike. The bistro also serves as a meeting place, as it is located between the hotel and the alpine garden. Cold and warm drinks, wine, beer, cold and warm snacks as well as souvenirs are available.
